Jenna is a proud mom of two joyful and compassionate kids (ages 6 and 4). She has been coaching youth sports on and off for over two decades, coached children and adults with developmental disabilities through Special Olympics for several years and has a degree in communications. Before founding Pinecones & Playtime, Jenna worked as a VP at a public relations firm and managed national cause marketing partnerships for Make-A-Wish America. She also helped make wishes come true as a volunteer wish granter for over a decade. Jenna most recently worked as a substitute paraeducator at elementary schools within the Shoreline Schools District.
Jenna completed the American Heart Association Training for adult, child and infant CPR/AED and first aid in 2023 as well as the Substitute Teaching Institute SubSkills Training Course, focused on classroom management, teaching strategies and other substitute teaching skills.
Ashleigh has 15 years of professional experience working with kids, having spent time as a teacher of toddlers and preschoolers, a school-age counselor, providing 1:1 behavior support, and as a childcare director. When she's not chasing children or walking dogs, she enjoys watching movies with her family, baking tasty treats and trying new craft projects (most recently crochet). Ashleigh also volunteers for the PTA and works at her church with the children’s ministry. She truly LOVES kids! Ashleigh completed CPR training in 2024.
Piper recently earned her BFA in Musical Theater (yay for teaching kids singing and dancing!) and was a lifeguard at Sheridan Beach for four summers. She believes deeply in kindness and has a smile for everyone she meets. Her positive energy and joyful personality make her a hit with kids (and parents!). Piper is also available for childcare outside of Pinecones & Playtime hours this summer.

Heather is a proud mom of three kind and inquisitive kids. Prior to helping launch Pinecones & Playtime, Heather worked as a paraeducator in an elementary school in the Shoreline Schools District. She home-schooled her two school-aged children via the Shoreline Schools Home Education Exchange during the pandemic. Before starting her own family, Heather worked for 12 years as a nanny and au pair with families in the U.S. as well as Florence, Italy, where she lived for five years. In her free time, she loves photography, gardening and cheering on her boys at their soccer games.
